AVNAT Registered Veterinary Nurse
Molly grew up in the small country town of Thargomindah, SW QLD. Her childhood was spent surrounded by animals of all sizes. She grew up with her parents working in the shearing sheds, family working on cattle properties and owning cats, dogs and horses (and the occasional poddy calf, lamb and goat). Molly practised multiple sporting disciplines as a child with her horses such as polocrosse, campdrafting, eventing and pony club. Growing up in the country is where her passion of caring for animals began. It was only fitting that Molly has pursued a career working with animals.
Molly finished her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing qualification through TAFE QLD whilst undertaking employment through West Toowoomba Veterinary Surgery, where she was lucky enough to spend the first four years of her career gaining valuable professional experience. Molly now joins us at TSS as a nurse providing assistance to Tom during surgical procedures, and helps provide the best care possible for your loved pets. She is also employed on a casual basis at the University of Qld Veterinary Medical Centre in Gatton, based mainly in the ICU, to keep up her nursing skills and gaining experience in the critical care sector of the industry. Molly takes a keen interest into the ever developing changes in the industry, and continues to research and learn about the evolving techniques within the veterinary world.
In the little spare time that Molly has, she enjoys playing many sports, including Rugby League and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts, and on occasion, still playing polocross. In her down time though, Molly enjoys to spend it with her two cats, Mufasa and Pippa, cattle dog – Kita and her horses, Zeta, Walkabout and Indi.
